SERVICE_MSG_SOURCE - UBROKER configuration option

Description

The SERVICE_MSG_SOURCE option specifies the source for messages issued by a Universal Broker and written to the Windows Application Event log.

This option should only be specified for user mode installs, in order to uniquely identify this source of Broker messages written to the Windows Application event log. Leave this value undefined for system installs (i.e., those done with the Windows Installer-based package).

Whenever this value is specified, always specify a corresponding SERVICE_NAME value to associate a Broker instance with its message source.

Values

source is the name under which the Universal Broker service logs appear in the Windows Application Event log.

Default is ubroker.
