Universal Agent for SOA for UNIX - Installation Requirements
UNIX Versions
To install Universal Agent for SOA for UNIX, you must have a Linux environment that satisfies the following requirements:
- Intel x86_64-based system
- RedHat Package Manager (RPM) distributions
- Linux Kernel 3.10 or greater
- Linux Kernel 4.18 or greater
- Linux Kernel 5.14 or greater
- glibc 2.17-326 or greater
- Debian distributions
- Linux Kernel 4.15 or greater
- Linux Kernel 5.15 or greater
- glibc 2.27-3 or greater
- RedHat Package Manager (RPM) distributions
MQ Connector Requirements
The following is required for running Universal Command Agent for SOA with an MQ Connector:

Universal Agent 7.6.0.0 or later must be installed and licensed.

MQ Environment version 6 or later, with working queues.

MQ Client jar files for native communication to MQ must be in the following path:
/opt/universal/uac/container/webapps/axis2/WEB-INF/lib

The MQ Client for Java version 7.0 package with the latest fix pack is recommended.
When using a MQ CCDT to establish connections to queue managers, 7.0.1.3 or later is highly recommended.
Additional Requirements
In addition, you must have:
- 512MB RAM minimum, 1 GB or more preferred.
- 150 MB free disk space.
- TCP/IP socket implementation.
- Superuser (root) access.
- Universal Agent 7.6.0.0 or later.
Platform Requirements
Since platform requirements may change with new releases of a product, see Platform Support for Universal Controller 8.0.x and Universal Agent 8.0.x to make sure that your platform is supported before performing an installation.
