Installation and Configuration Roadmap

This guide outlines the essential steps for installing, configuring, and activating UDMG.

UDMG is installed through a Linux package or Windows installer, which installs UDMG Server. UDMG Server provides the MFT services and includes the embedded UDMG Admin UI.

UDMG also requires a supported database (not embedded within UDMG Server) to store configuration, metadata, and operational state.

After installation, UDMG must be configured using its Configuration File before it can be started and used.

Configuration and monitoring can then be performed through the UDMG Admin UI (web interface) or the UDMG REST API.

This roadmap provides a sequential, high-level checklist and links to detailed guides for each phase of the installation and configuration process.
